We built state-of-the-art logistics facilities in Bastukärr, Sipoo, for storage and logistics services. The project was commissioned by MRec Management Oy, with 3PLogistiikka Group Oy as the end user.
- 30,000 shelf locations and 10 km of small item shelving
- 12-meter clear height and 15 loading docks
- capacity to handle up to 5000 shipments per day
The progress of this logistics construction project, which employed 300 workers and 120 subcontractors, was excellent from the permit application stage onward. As a result, the client and end user were able to start operations ahead of schedule, partially even during the finalisation phase of the project.
3Plogistiikka Group Oy aims for carbon neutrality in its operations, and the project was executed in compliance with the EU taxonomy, achieving an A energy class rating. Applying for BREEAM Excellent certification, which requires strict quality, lifecycle, and environmental standards for both the property and its surrounding areas, was also a goal. This impressive facility has been designed with a focus on energy efficiency and long-term flexibility.
From the very beginning, the project was a close collaboration where the core expertise of all parties and strong teamwork played a key role. The end result is an outstanding example of modern and contemporary logistics construction.
