ENGLISH: KOy Järvenpään Helmi

The project we developed

Finland’s largest home electronics retailer, Gigantti, and used car dealer, Saka, wanted to expand their operations to Järvenpää. To meet this need, they were searching for new commercial spaces.

Project type:
Project development
Intended use:
Commercial property
Location:
Diggarinkatu 12, Järvenpää
Year of completion:
2020
We developed new premises in Järvenpää for Saka, a car dealership, and Gigantti, a retailer specialising in electronics and home appliances. We carried out the project from land acquisition to completion, with a strong focus on meeting the specific needs of both companies and ensuring a brand-aligned execution.

We acquired a plot in the Ristinummi area of Järvenpää, which ideally serves the needs of both Saka and Gigantti. The project was designed with the requirements of both users as well as the owner in mind, and we carried out the construction project to full completion.

The project was built using a Finnish glulam frame, and the heating system is based on eco-friendly geothermal energy. Additionally, a WEEE recycling shelter was later constructed under a separate building permit.

Spaces designed for the needs of a car dealership

Tekova has previously completed multiple car dealership projects, which allowed us to leverage our existing experience in designing and constructing Saka’s new facilities. The premises were built in line with Saka’s concept, carefully considering their specific needs. Additionally, a dedicated photography area was integrated into the facility.

Concept-driven construction

For Gigantti, we built a store aligned with their concept. During the design and construction phases, we carefully considered the client’s specific requirements, including security features, lighting, electrical installations for store fixtures, and interior design that reflects Gigantti’s identity.
