The project we developed

We developed a shopping center in Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi, which included new spaces for four tenants: Rusta, Gigantti, Jysk, and Musti & Mirri.

In Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi, the service offering expanded in the fall of 2022 when Tekova developed a four-unit retail space complex for the area.

The new tenants in Klaukkala included Rusta, Gigantti, and Jysk, alongside Musti & Mirri, which had already been operating in the area. Tekova developed a 6,000 m2 shopping center, handling everything from land acquisition to the design and construction of the spaces. The project was carried out in close cooperation with the Nurmijärvi municipality.

The solutions selected for this project included eco-friendly glulam frames, a wooden element roof and district heating as the energy source.

Rusta

Rusta’s facilities were built in a separate standalone building. The design and implementation of the spaces was made easier by prior experience in constructing Rusta retail spaces. This allowed us to account for their specific needs already in the planning phase. The retail space covers 2,800 m2, including store areas, warehouse spaces, as well as staff social and break rooms.

Gigantti

We have previously developed retail spaces for Gigantti, which allowed us to take their actual needs into account during the design and implementation phases. The space covers 1,470 m2 and includes store and warehouse areas, as well as staff social and break rooms. Additionally, Gigantti was provided with a loading dock and a separate WEEE shelter.

Jysk

The Jysk space covers 1,400 m2, including store and warehouse areas, as well as staff social and break rooms.

Musti & Mirri

The Musti & Mirri space covers 350 m2, including store and pet care areas, as well as staff social and break rooms.
