We developed a 2,100 m2 warehouse and production facility in Kirkkonummi for Pretec Finland Oy, a company working in rock bolting and the production of metal fastening components for the construction industry.

The project was carried out as a D&B contract, meaning Tekova managed the entire construction process, from the initial design to the completion of the project, including coordination with authorities. The lngth of the construction period was 7 months.

At the client’s request, during the design phase special attention was paid to the size of the concrete columns and the load-bearing capacity of the floor, with the warehouse shelving in mind. Additionally, the project included staff social and break rooms, along with office and meeting rooms.

The building’s supporting structure consists of concrete pillars and TT slabs. The heating system is based on eco-friendly geothermal energy. The floor has a load-bearing capacity of 30/kN/m2. The plot size is 7,300 m2, most of which is paved. Additionally, a separate non-heated, covered 65 m2 storage space was built in the yard.
